James "Buzz" Weldy Bio

James "Buzz" Weldy is co-manager for Eco Electrical Systems.

James "Buzz" Weldy started his utility career in 1971 with Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) after graduating with a BS degree from San Jose State University. From 1971 to 1986 Buzz worked in various positions for PG&E from Electrical Engineering Department, Procurement and Power Plant Project Management.

In 1986 Buzz resigned from PG&E and joined Westinghouse Corporation as a Sales Manager calling exclusively on PG&E's Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plant.

In 1988, Buzz was offered a position with Maydwell and Hartzell Company, an electrical rep organization, as Vice President of Sales and Marketing in charge of 6 Regional Offices covering the Western United States and Hawaii.

In 1993, Buzz and his wife Susan started Energy Comm as a Women Business Enterprise (WBE) which sells electric and gas distribution products to all utilities in California and Nevada. At this time, Energy Comm is one of the key distributors for Eco Electrical Systems.
